Mission Statement
“Christ with me as I learn, grow and shine”
“The family of St Patrick’s warmly welcomes everyone with love, respect and kindness. We know that Christ is with us as we learn, pray, play and grow together as children of God. We provide a caring, joyful and supportive community, nurturing the Catholic faith, living and working together as part of God’s family to shine and reach our full potential; we are all individuals, unique and special in God’s eyes.”
Our new mission statement was launched on 18th March 2019 (The first day in school after St. Patrick’s Day). The process of developing this new mission statement took months and involved consultation with pupils, parents, staff and governors. St. Patrick’s Day was chosen as the most appropriate day to launch the new mission statement of the school.
The school community enjoyed a Mass together at the start of a week dedicated to putting the mission statement into action. Parishioners, governors, representatives of the Diocese of Salford and friends of the school were invited to share coffee and a shamrock-shaped biscuit. The week ended with a sponsored Ceildh, which raised money for the NSPCC.
The Mission Statement continues to form the central focus of everything we do at St. Patrick's school. It is reflected in all our curriculum documentation, our school awards, our school prayers and is the statement that we live and breathe each day.
The Mission Statement is revisited every year by Governors, parents, teachers and our pupils to ensure it is still fit for purpose. We are proud of our Mission Statement and how it continues to offer us direction and support. The last review took place in September 2024.
